Who We Are

Picture

Venturing  by canoe along the agelesswaters of our great country, we discover our relationship with Mother Earth, the natural world and the Creator; we look for direction and become aware of 'pimadazinin'... the path we take in life... the wish to pursue a good life...

Kathy Kujala, (Senior Project Manager for a Land Surveying Firm) and Freelance Photographer together with Dr. Bill Weaver (retired family physician) now Avocational Archaeologist;  have a unique partnership - Naturalists at Heart.  They base themselves between the Muskokas and a seasonal island retreat on Dog Lake along the Michicopten-Missinaibi-Moosonee canoe route rich in Aboriginal Culture.
Personal experience has taken them on canoe explorations and adventures which has deepened their interest and research in Pictographs - Roct Art and Sacred Places..
They continue their quest both separately and together for those sites not yet documented in an attempt to have a better understanding of those that have gone before us, those that have created the dreaming rocks.

A peek from the creative - "off the grid" location in the heart of Algoma - Dog Lake, Missanabie.
